MUSKEGON — Oakridge outscored North Muskegon by a wide margin in a West Michigan Conference girls softball doubleheader on its home field Tuesday afternoon, 13-0 and 15-5.

Brooklyn Galdeen gave up just three hits and struck out five through four innings to pick up the win, while Kaelin Jozsa pitched one inning of relief and did not give up a hit while striking out one.

Jozsa knocked out two hits and drove in two runs, while Delaney Ruel also had two hits including a double with two RBI. Mallori Whipple had a double and one RBI. Oakridge had 10 hits as a team.

Kylee Willea was the winning pitcher in Game 2, allowing two earned runs on seven hits while striking out eight over seven innings. Jozsa also saw action in the circle, giving up three runs on two walks and a hit batter.

Jozsa came through at the plate with a double and single with four RBI. Brenna Cabrera produced three hits including a double with four RBI. Jasmine Pastor had two doubles and three hits, Delay Ruel had a double and single whle Madison Clark had a double and single.

Oakridge improved to 17-1 overall and 10-0 in the conference.
