The Bucs produced just 55 yards of total offense.

East Kentwood gained the upper hand by scoring two touchdowns in each of the first two quarters and headed off at halftime with a 28-0 lead.

Grand Haven quarterback Xzavier Rodriguez completed four of eight passes for 10 yards. Chase Robinson was the leading receiver with three receptions for 11 yards.

Rodriguez carried the ball 17 times for 22 yards. Lance Poole had six rushes for 19 yards.

On the defensive side, Bode Wilson led Grand Haven with seven tackles. Dylan Cummings made five tackles while forcing a fumble. Eli Ziska also tallied five tackles while Gus Abraham made three tackles and had one sack.

It doesn’t get any easier for Grand Haven (1-2) as the Bucs travel to Rockford next week.
