Van Duinen scores two goals to lead Spring Lake over Fruitport

SPRING LAKE – The Spring Lake boys soccer team claimed a win over rival Fruitport on Monday evening.

The Lakers topped the Trojans by a score of 3-1.

Bryce Van Duinen led the attack with two goals, while Will Rudd added a single score and an assist.

Fruitport’s Brady Brown netted the lone goal off of an assist from Jackson Rebone.

Goalkeeper Justin Laus made five saves for the Trojans.

Spring Lake (5-4) will see more OK Conference-Blue action on Wednesday when they host Hamilton.

Fruitport (5-4) is also set for league place on Wednesday as they host West Catholic
