LAKEVIEW–The White Cloud Indians got by Lakeview by 37-32 on Friday evening in a Central States Athletic Association-Silver league game played at Lakeview
Offensively. the team was led by Jace Silverthorn with 190 yards rushing. He rushed for two touchdowns and passed for a third. One to Nate Compeau, who had two touchdowns.
Mason Ruether had two touchdowns, one in the air and one on the ground.
White Cloud had a dozen players record at least one tackle.
Leading the way was Carlos Brown with 18 tackles and a sack. Jace Silverthorn had 17 tackles and an interception, while Lloyd Sebright-Johnson chipped in with nine tackles.
White Cloud (6-2, 2-1) will play at White Pigeon next Friday to wrap up its regular-season schedule.
Jace Silverthorne should be player of the week and of the year. Consistency is what defines this young man. Jace definitely shines when running the ball but don’t forget what he can do on defense!!!!!
