Rockford ambushed Grand Haven out of the gate, taking a 21-0 first-quarter lead.

Francis’ touchdown came in the third quarter as he ran for 105 yards on 28 carries.

Grand Haven’s offense played well despite struggling to find the endzone. Owen Worthington threw for 93 yards on 11 attempts with six completions. The leading receiver for the Buccaneers was Nate Boehnke with two grabs for 44 yards.

The Buccaneers were anchored defensively by Gaven Strong with seven tackles. Antwan Price tallied five tackles of his own.

Grand Haven finishes 3-6 on the 2021 season and 2-5 in the OK Red.
