MUSKEGON –The Oakridge girls basketball team soared past Coopersville on Wednesday evening.

The Eagles won by a final score of 47-21.

The Eagles jumped ahead 13-2 in the first quarter and extended it to 23-11 by halftime. 

The Eagles continued with solid play at both ends of the court and outscored Coopersville 24-10 over the last two quarters.

Anna Lundquist led Oakridge with a double-double (23 points and 23 rebounds). She also had five blocks.

Cambria Guenthardt put up nine points while Destyni Lane added seven points and five steals.

Oakridge (4-2, 2-2) will visit Whitehall for WMC-Lakes action on Thursday, Jan. 5.
