SPRING LAKE–In a battle for second place in the OK Conference-Blue, Coopersville got by Spring Lake on Friday evening, 54-42.
 
A cold shooting second half for Spring Lake and five Coopersville three-pointers in the third quarter changed the momentum of the game. The Lakers shot just 4-of-21 from the floor in the second half.
 
Coopersville got out to 10-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. Spring Lake took the lead, 28-26 by the half by outscoring the Broncos 19-16 in the second quarter.

Coopersville owned the second half and came from behind with a 17-8 scoring advantage in the third period. The Broncos secured the win with a 11-7 advantage during the final eight minutes.  
 
Zane Stahl led Spring Lake with 14 points and nine rebounds while Zach Schlepp added eight points. Colin Burt played well off the bench and chipped in four points.
 
Spring Lake (8-2, 5-3) will host Grand Rapids West Catholic on Tuesday.
