MUSKEGON–The Muskegon Big Reds wrapped up another OK Conference-Green title on Friday evening with a 74-50 win over the Wyoming Wolves.

With the win, the Big Reds improve to 17-1 overall and 12-0 in the OK Conference-Red standings.

Muskegon, ranked No. 4 in Division 1, will travel today (Saturday) to Grand Blanc (No. 3 in Division 1) to take on the Bobcats (16-2, 10-0) in the Saginaw Valley Conference).

On Friday evening, seniors Jordan Briggs and Anthony Sydnor III led the way for the Big Reds.

Briggs finished with a team-high 19 points while Sydnor III tossed in 16 points. Joining them in double figures was James Martin with 11 points. Senior David Day III chipped in with nine points.

Muskegon got out to a 12-6 lead at the end of one quarter and went into the half with a 29-20 lead.

Then as has been the case often this season, the Big Reds got the offense rolling in the second half. This time, the Big Reds racked up a 22-9 advantage before scoring 23 points in the final eight minutes to seal the deal the league title.

Muskegon connected on 12-of-16 free throws and hit six shots from beyond the arc.
