RAVENNA–Caleb Forsythe poured in 17 points in Ravenna’s 56-30 victory over Holton on Friday evening in a West Michigan Conference matchup.

It was a tight contest throughout the first half as Ravenna led 13-8 at the end of the first quarter and 21-17 at halftime.

Ravenna pulled away in the third quarter and led 38-22 heading into the fourth.

Carter Schullo added 15 points for the Bulldogs. Drew Mabrito had eight points and Dylan May tacked on seven points.

Brodrick Fialek tallied 12 points and six rebounds for the Red Devils. Carter Brant added seven points and four assists.

“It was a tough game tonight,” Holton coach Keith Swanson said. “I continue to see good signs from our guys. I needed to do a better job preparing us for some of the things we saw tonight. So that will be a focus area coming out of this one.”

Ravenna (5-9, 4-3) travels to Tri-Unity Christian on Tuesday.

Holton (0-14, 0-7) hosts White Cloud on Tuesday.
