MONTAGUE — The host Whitehall Vikings, led by Camden Thompson, took a double-digit lead early on and cruised to an 89-52 victory over the Oakridge Eagles on Thursday night.

The Vikings led 20-9 after the first quarter and 37-19 at the half. In the second half, Whitehall poured it on with 52 points.

Thompson turned in another solid all-around performance with 20 points, 21 rebounds, five assists and five blocks for the Vikings. Ca’mar Ready added 13 points and Trannon Aylor had 13. DJ Jamison had six rebounds.

Whitehall (15-5, 9-1) will travel to Fremont on Tuesday.

Oakridge (9-11, 5-6) will host Wyoming Potter’s House Christian on Tuesday.
