WHITEHALL — Host Whitehall swept a West Michigan Conference Lakes Division baseball doubleheader with Mason County Central, 6-2 and 12-2, Thursday.
Isaac Vanamberg, Landon Howe and Jack McDowell each had two hits to lead the Vikings to support winning pitcher Ryne Christenson.
Leading the Spartans at the plate were Will Chye and Braylin Thurow who each had multi-hit games.
In the nightcap, Vanamberg was the winning pitcher, and Jayden Brinkert led the offense with four hits. Vanamberg and McDowell had a pair of hits.
Chye and Colten Sanders had hits for the Spartans.
Whitehall travels to Zeeland East to participate in a tournament on Saturday.
Mason County Central is at North Muskegon for another WMC contest Tuesday.
