MANISTEE — The White Cloud Indians track teams swept the titles at the Saber Flash track invitational in Manistee.

The boys won the event with 175-5 points. Other area teams included second-place Pentwater (103), Montague (52), Mason County Eastern (43), Manistee (24), Fruitport Calvary Christian (17) and Walkerville (13).
 
For the girls, White Cloud topped the field with 154 points. Mason County Eastern as second with 104 points and Pentwater was third with 93. Other area teams included Manistee (47), Fruitport Calvary Christian (23) and Walkerville (6).
 
Bradley Richards from Fruitport Calvary toppled the school and meet record with a height of 6-5 in the high jump. The previous school record was 6-3 and the meet record was 6-2. Both records also belonged to Richards, who is the top-ranked high jumper in Division 4 in the state.
 
For the boys, Calvary’s Zach McFarren toppled the school record in the discus with a third-place finish throw of 127-4.
 
On the girls’ side, Calvary’s Ava Wilson finished second in the 1,600-meter run. In the 100-meter dash, McKena Wilson finished third, Kara Baas was fourth and Annalise Derrick was eighth. Liberty Labrenz finished seventh in the shot put and eighth in the discus.
 
Calvary returns to the track on Tuesday at Wyoming Lee for the conference meet.
