FREMONT –The Fremont boys soccer team used an early scoring surge to grab a 3-1 victory against Big Rapids on Monday afternoon.
The Packers scored all three goals in the first half and outshot the Cardinals 18-2.
Chaz Miller, Deagan Klimek and Tee Ward each posted a goal for the Packers. Miller and Klimek also each tallied an assist.
Goalkeeper Caleb Vissia stopped a single shot in net.
Fremont (5-0) will kick off league play at Oakridge on Wednesday.
