Oakridge takes down Orchard View in conference soccer match

MUSKEGON – The Oakridge boys’ soccer team opened West Michigan Conference play with a strong 6-1 victory over Orchard View on Monday.

Arturo Romero-Serrano led the Eagles with a pair of goals while Cole Wigger, Landon Meacher, Dallas Meyers and Isaac Willard each added a score.

Willard also made seven saves in the net for the Eagles.

Oakridge (3-3, 1-0) will host Fremont on Wednesday.

Orchard View (2-4-1, 0-1) will travel to Ludington on Wednesday for a conference match.
