KENT CITY – The Kent City volleyball team opened CSAA Conference action with a shutout over Lakeview on Tuesday evening.
The Eagles cruised past Lakeview in three sets (25-17, 25-12, 25-16).
Cailynn Hartzell had 37 assists and scored a pair of aces while Maddie Geers added 20 kills, 20 digs and an ace.
Denyle Bonter also chipped in with seven kills and two aces.
Kent City (6-3-1, 1-0) will travel to Ludington on Saturday.
