NORTON SHORES – The Western Michigan Christian boys’ soccer team ended the action early with a victory by mercy rule on Tuesday evening.
The Warriors led 7-0 at halftime and went on to blank Tri-Unity Christian, 8-0.
Tekalegn Vlasma led the scoring with a hat trick followed by Charlie Buursma with a pair of goals. Pol Salvat, Henry Hubers and Ben Pollock each added a goal.
No. 2-ranked WMC (9-1-3, 4-0) travels to Wyoming Lee on Thursday.
