WHITEHALL – The Montague volleyball team edged out Whitehall in a highly contested matchup on Tuesday.

The Wildcats came away victorious in four sets, 25-18, 25-21, 23-25, 25-22.

Britta Johnson led the way with 15 kills, 10 digs and a pair of aces while Jordan Netcott added 10 digs, seven kills, four aces and three blocks. Maizie Collins had 11 digs, six kills and an ace. Jaelyn Sundberg chipped in 44 assists and 10 digs.

Montague (8-11-4, 2-1) will host Ravenna on Saturday.

Whitehall travels to Manistee on Tuesday.
