NORTON SHORES – The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team came out on top of a competitive five-set battle against Tri-Unity Christian on Tuesday.

The Warriors fell behind by losing two of the first three sets, but turned it around the won the last two. WMC rallied to win, 25-12, 22-25, 22-25, 25-9 and 15-11.

Hannah Heiss had 14 kills, six blocks and four aces while Ashley Folkema had 13 kills and eight blocks. Nora Anderson added six kills, four aces and a pair of blocks.

Bri Warners had 41 assists, four aces and four blocks. Abby Leffring threw in nine kills and five blocks.

WMC visits Wyoming Lee on Tuesday.
