HOLLAND – The Reeths-Puffer volleyball team split the day with a record of 2-2 at a tournament at West Ottawa on Saturday.

The Rockets took down Plainwell (25-18, 26-24) and Kalamazoo Central (25-17, 25-9). 

The losses came in close matches with host West Ottawa (19-25, 18-25) and Gull Lake (16-25, 18-25).

Madisyn Dykema had 20 kills, 11 digs and six aces, while Sophia Hekkema had 19 kills, 13 digs and three aces.

Megan Barnes added 18 digs with three aces and Lauren Nelson made nine digs, eight kills and three aces.

Also, Allie McManus threw in five digs, five kills and five aces.

Reeths-Puffer (9-8-2) will be at home for OK Conference-Green action against Zeeland East on Tuesday.
