HOUGHTON LAKE – The Manistee Mariners took 10th place in Tuesday’s Division 4 regional golf tournament.
The event was played at The Quest Golf Course in Houghton Lake.
Traverse City St. Francis ran away with the team title with 384 strokes. That was 36 strokes better than runner-up Charlevoix (420) and East Jordan (433).
St. Francis’ Grace Slocum was the individual medalist with a 77.
Manistee’s golfers included Annika Haag, who shot a 107, Clear Wang (142), Olivia Salmon (147) and Sadie Verheek (151).
The top three teams move on to state team competition Oct. 20-21 at Bedford Valley.
