SAUGATUCK – The North Muskegon volleyball team breezed through the opening round of the Division 3 district tournament on Monday.
The Norse shut down Fennville in three sets, 25-13, 25-9 and 25-6.
Fia Lindsay led the Norse with eight kills, six digs, four aces and a block while Olivia Peterson added seven kills and two aces. Isabella Fornaro had seven kills and a block.
Sami Baker set up the Norse with 26 assists and two aces. Jolie Fellows chipped in 14 digs and four aces.
North Muskegon (20-13) advances to face Western Michigan Christian at Saugatuck on Wednesday. The action kicks off at 5:30 p.m.
