Fruitport Calvary Christian falls in three sets to Fowler in Division 4 district volleyball

FRUITPORT – The Fruitport Calvary Christian volleyball team ended its season on Monday in the opening round of Division 4 districts.

The Eagles lost to Fowler in three straight sets by scores of 20-25, 19-25 and 9-25.

Ella Dykman and Kara Baas each paced Fruitport Calvary with three kills apiece, while Marissa Tyler chipped in with nine assists.

The Eagles were led defensively by Tyler with 12 digs, while Dykman and Sarah Deuby each had eight. Dykman also had three blocks.

Fruitport Calvary ends its season with a 16-15-2 overall record.
