North Muskegon finishes second in WMC volleyball tournament

SHELBY – The North Muskegon volleyball team earned a second-place finish in the WMC Rivers tournament on Saturday.

The Norse bagged victories against Mason County Central (25-17, 25-6) and Ravenna (25-10, 25-15), but lost a tough one to Shelby (22-25, 23-25).

Allie Jensen led the Norse with 25 digs, 10 kills and eight aces, while Fia Lindsay had 14 kills and three blocks. Sami Baker added 47 assists, 12 digs and four aces. Jolie Fellows had 41 digs and five aces.

Also, Addie Falkowski and Olivia Peterson contributed nine kills apiece.

North Muskegon will close out the regular season on Thursday with a league matchup at Whitehall.
