WHITE CLOUD – The White Cloud boys basketball team bagged a 55-42 victory to kick off the season on Tuesday

The host Indians defeated the Baldwin Panthers.

“I was proud of our effort and hustle tonight,” said White Cloud coach Robert Jones. “We definitely have a lot to work on, but it wasn’t too bad for the first game of the season.”

Jared Watson led the way with 14 points, while Kevin Strait and Jayden Robinson each chipped in 13 points. Noah Robinson scored 10 points.

White Cloud (1-0) travels to Shelby on Friday.
