ALLENDALE – The Spring Lake volleyball team earned a Division 2 district title with a solid victory over host Allendale on Thursday.
The Lakers defeated Allendale in three sets, 25-18, 25-23 and 27-25.
Kalli Lewkowski led with 21 digs and 19 kills, while Brooke Bolthouse had 31 digs and eight kills. Kara Constantine added 18 assists and three blocks. Avery Britt chipped in 12 assists and Brooklyn Beeler scored a pair of aces.
The Lakers posted a record 108 digs on the evening.
Spring Lake (21-20) advances to regional action on Tuesday at Central Montcalm, where they will face Fremont at 7 pm,
