MONTAGUE – The Whitehall boys basketball team continued to flex its muscle with Camden Thompson leading the way. The Vikings ran past Montague on Thursday evening and Thompson had a career night.

The Vikings bagged another WMC-Lakes victory with a 66-35 win over rival, Montague.

Thompson’s storybook night finished with a triple-double of 23 points, 27 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals. Camar Ready added 14 points, while Kyle Stratton scored eight points and made three steals.

The Wildcats’ Owen Raeth had 11 points and a pair of assists. Isaiah Atchinson chipped in seven rebounds, six points and two blocks. Also, Paul Olson scored six points.

Whitehall (4-0, 2-0) will travel to Manistee on Monday for league play.

Montague (4-2, 1-2) is set to host Ludington for conference action on Tuesday.
