Fremont grapplers win John Baum wrestling title with undefeated mark

BELDING – The Fremont wrestling team claimed the title at the John Baum Invitational on Saturday.

The Packers were undefeated with wins against Central Montcalm (48-30), Hanover Horton (53-30), Lowell (41-29), Belding (65-18) and Culver City (52-27).

Tee Ward was 5-0 and secured his 150th career win. Trey Myers, Killian Prewitt, Ian Sholty and Beckett Newell also were undefeated on the day.

Adam Rich and Chase Montague went 4-1.

Fremont will compete in the Montague Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 30.
