FRUITPORT – The Fruitport girls basketball team opened their season with a 77-16 win over Fruitport Calvary Christian on Tuesday night.
The Trojans led 16-4 after the first quarter, 38-6 at halftime and 57-10 through three quarters.
Grace Sweet paced Fruitport with 13 points while Ash Olson scored 12. Jorja Blackmer chipped in four assists.
The game was the season opener for both teams.
