The Hart boys basketball team could not find answers for Big Rapids in its 74-49 loss on Friday. 
The Pirates trailed 15-10 after the first quarter and 36-20 at halftime. Big Rapids pushed its lead even further in the third, leading 58-38.
Blake Weirich led Hart with 23 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and three steals. Sophomore Caleb Ackley contributed 14 points and five rebounds.
The Pirates look to bounce back into the win column on Tuesday at home against league foe, Ravenna.
