MUSKEGON – The Holton Red Devil girls’ basketball team opened the season in style on Tuesday night with a 40-24 victory over the Oakridge Eagles.
The Red Devils led 10-7 after one quarter, 15-14 at the half and 29-19 after three quarters.
Holton closed out the game with an 11-5 fourth-quarter run to seal the victory.
The Red Devils were led by Ryann Robins with 10 points and 15 rebounds while Abbie Fowler added eight assists and three steals. Lexi Bart chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds and Aubrey Goyings had nine points and six rebounds.
Anna Lundquist paced Oakridge with nine points and eight rebounds.
