Late run pushes Muskegon Catholic boys to victory over Hesperia

HESPERIA – The Muskegon Catholic boys basketball team closed out Tuesday night’s contest with a 21-11 run to break a 37-37 tie and defeat Hesperia 58-48 in a non-league game.

The Crusaders were led by Jake Westhoff with 21 points while Jacob Lyonnais chipped in 10.

The Panthers, who struggled taking care of the basketball, were paced by Bryce Billings with 15 points while Jared Tanner added 12 and Ethan O’Neil had 11. Nick Guainieri pulled down eight rebounds.
