Mona Shores wrestlers top GR Union, lose to Allendale

SPRING LAKE – The Mona Shores wrestling team earned a split in a double-dual on Wednesday.

The Sailors topped Grand Rapids Union 52-30, but fell to Allendale 65-6.

Mario Curiel (120) was 2-0, while Peyton Peterson (215), Mason Courson (126), Anthony Cage (132), Pierre Tyson (138) and Erik Davidson (150) each chipped in with a victory.

Mona Shores will be at Hart for the Mark Bosse Invitational on Saturday.
