GRAND RAPIDS – The Montague wrestling team opened the season with a pair of victories on Wednesday.
The Wildcats were 2-0 with a 48-24 win over Godwin Heights and a 72-12 win against Ottawa Hills.
Brock Hunter, Kian Peters, Savannah Winkleblack, Kaiden Jeffery, Jimmy Thommen, Fletcher Thommen, Emma Pendell, Aydan Everett, Ethan Lundy, Chris Evans, Oliver Evans and Carlos Meza were undefeated.
Montague will travel to Hemlock High School on Saturday for an invitational.
