MUSKEGON – The Oakridge boys basketball team put away Shelby 76-43 on Wednesday to remain perfect on the season.

The Eagles outscored the Tigers 38-16 in the first half and carried the energy throughout the second half.

Peyton Ruel led the Eagles with 11 points and eight assists, while Evan Miller put up 10 points. Trever Jones and Ameded Cuccuru scored nine points apiece. Michael Wambaugh added seven rebounds. Bryson Stephenson and Evan Jozsa each pulled down six rebounds. 

The Tigers’ Wyatt Dickman and Treyjin Waller posted 10 and nine points, respectively. 

Oakridge (4-0) will host Manistee on Friday.

Shelby (1-2) will be at home on Friday to face Hart.
