The Newaygo girls’ basketball squad struggled offensively on Tuesday night in a 52-18 defeat against Cedar Springs.

Naomi Schillman led the Lions with 12 points and four rebounds, while Maria Riddering had four points and five boards. Addison Goodin and Lily Holmes each pulled down six rebounds.

Newaygo trailed 27-7 at halftime.

The Lions are now 2-1 overall on the season.
