Grand Haven girls make quick work of Mona Shores in basketball action

NORTON SHORES – The Grand Haven girls basketball team trounced Mona Shores 61-23 on Tuesday to remain perfect on the season.

Maddie Schopf and Mallory Woiteschek led the way with 11 points apiece, while Kendall Gillis and Gillian Sorrelle each scored 10 points.

The Sailors’ Khaleeya Cook posted 11 points. Katie Phillips and Logan Clausen each contributed five points. 

Grand Haven (3-0) will be at Traverse City Central on Friday.

Mona Shores (1-2) will host Gaylord St. Mary on Saturday.
