The White Cloud girls’ basketball squad won a tight conference contest versus Tri-County 31-27 on Friday night.

The Indians held a slim 9-8 lead at the end of the opening quarter and led 21-13 at halftime. White Cloud also led 27-18 going into the fourth quarter.

Jaden Gomez and Tanayah Klammer each paced the Indians with eight points, while Kadence Nickoloff added six.

White Cloud improves to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the CSAA. Tri-County is 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the CSAA.
