NORTH MUSKEGON – A total team effort from the North Muskegon boys basketball team propelled the Norse to another victory on Tuesday.

The Norse remained undefeated on the season as they blew past Holton, 79-24, in a WMC-Rivers matchup.

“We got out early and were able to run to some transition and get the Red Devils chasing us,” said North Muskegon coach Charles Rypstra. “We were able to keep them at bay for the rest of the game.”

Jaxon Lisinski led the Norse with 16 points. James Young scored 10 points, snagged four steals and made three assists, while Adam Dugener added 10 points, three steals and three assists. TJ Byard scored 10 points and Lamarkis Graham had nine points and three steals.

The Red Devils’ Carter Brandt scored more than half the teams’ points with 16.

North Muskegon (10-0, 6-0) will be at Ravenna on Friday for more league play.

Holton (1-13, 0-6) hosts league rival Hart on Friday.
