Mona Shores grapplers draw with Zeeland West, whip GR West Catholic

NORTON SHORES – The Mona Shores wrestling squad wrapped up Wednesday evening with a 1-0-1 finish in a double-dual.

The Sailors wrestled to a 39-39 draw with Zeeland West, but routed Grand Rapids West Catholic, 62-6.

Erik Davidson (144), Brody Faught (157), Peyton Peterson (215), Mario Curiel (113), Anthony Cage (132), Gavin Clayvomb (138) and Jack Olson (150) went undefeated.

Daylan Vorgias (175), Jordan Mackey (190), Anthony Nash (285) and Mason Courson (126) each posted one victory.

Mona Shores will compete in the OK-Green championship on Saturday at Wyoming.
