WYOMING – The Muskegon Catholic Central boys’ basketball team held off Wyoming Potters House, 56-54, in an Alliance League game on Tuesday evening.

Owen Lyonnais posted a double-double of 25 points, 11 rebounds and four steals.

The Crusaders opened with 19 first-quarter points and went on to lead 33-23 at the half. However, the Crusaders came out for the third quarter and started slowly while Potters House outscored them 15-7 to cut the lead to just two points.

The Crusaders buckled down offensively and managed to hang on for the victory.

Jacob Lyonnais chipped in with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Jake Westhoff and Q Lorenz scored eight and seven points, respectively.

Muskegon Catholic (4-12, 1-2) will travel to Byron Center Zion Christian on Friday.
