Richards-led Fruitport Calvary Christian routs Manistee Catholic in boys basketball

FRUITPORT – Fruitport Calvary Christian’s Bradley Richards had another high-scoring and high-flying night on Monday.

Richards earned a double-double with 34 points and 10 rebounds in a 66-25 victory against Manistee Catholic Central. 

Quinn Swanson was welcomed back after an ACL scare and had 10 points and six assists. 

“Getting Swanson back was an answer to our prayers, just such a blessing,” said Calvary coach Brad Richards. “That was the big news of the day for our team as he is such an incredible difference maker on the court and a captain.”

Sam Zelenka scored eight points, pulled down seven rebounds and made seven assists. Zach McFarren added seven points, seven rebounds and five assists.

Fruitport Calvary Christian will be at home against Holland Calvary on Tuesday.
