MUSKEGON – Kaelinn Jozsa offered up a double-double performance to help the Oakridge girls basketball team secure a tight overtime win against rival Orchard View on Tuesday.

Jozsa scored 16 points, including the basket to seal the game, and pulled down 13 rebounds in the 36-34 WMC-Lakes win.

The Eagles nipped at the Cardinals’ heels over the first three quarters, but couldn’t manage to find the upper hand. However, the Eagles continued to fight and inched closer and closer over the fourth quarter to ultimately close out regulation tied, 32-32.

Cambria Guenthardt had eight points and six rebounds for the Eagles, while Anna Lundquist added seven points, 12 rebounds and eight steals. 

The Cardinals’ Cambrie Hardy scored 11 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Payten Bleich threw in four points, four assists, three steals and three rebounds. Amber Ready contributed four points, eight rebounds, two assists and a block.

Oakridge (4-10, 2-7) will be at home on Wednesday against Western Michigan Christian.

Orchard View (4-10, 0-7) hosts Fremont in league play on Friday.
