Ludington tops Orchard View in WMC Lakes girls basketball matchup

MUSKEGON — The Ludington girls’ basketball team defeated Orchard View, 48-27, in a West Michigan Conference Lakes Division makeup game in Muskegon Wednesday night.

Emma McKinley led three players in double-figures for the Orioles with 12 points. Jordyn Anderson added 11 and Peyton Welch chipped in 10. Ludington led 29-12 at the half and 41-16 after three quarters.

The Orioles (15-6 overall, 10-1 WMC Lakes) finish the regular season Tuesday with a road trip to Fremont for a conference matchup.

Orchard View (4-14, 0-10) travels to Whitehall for a conference game Friday night.
