Khaleeya Cook and Katie Phillips each scored eight points to lead the Mona Shores girls’ basketball team to a low-scoring 26-22 win over Zeeland West on Tuesday.
The Sailors led 9-5 at the end of the opening quarter, 15-9 at halftime and 18-17 through three quarters of play.
Mona Shores closed out the game on an 8-5 fourth-quarter run.
The Sailors also got point contributions from Tia Norman with six points and Logan Clausen with three.
The Sailors, who are now 11-9 on the season and 7-6 in league play, will finish conference play on Friday against Zeeland East.
