MUSKEGON – The Montague girls basketball team tallied a WMC-Lakes victory with a 51-23 rout of Orchard View on Tuesday.

The Wildcats jumped ahead early and led 29-10 by halftime and cruised the rest of the way.

“It was an all-around team effort in tonight’s win,” said Montague coach Jess Debruin. “It was a good win to come off of after a tough, close loss Friday night against Oakridge.”

Adilynn Peterson led the Wildcats with 19 points and a pair of steals. Braylyn Bultema added 11 points and seven rebounds, while Addison Pranger had nine points and six rebounds. Amanda Cederquist scored seven points and grabbed five rebounds.

Montague (8-12, 6-7) will be at home on Friday against Mona Shores.

Orchard View (4-16, 0-10) travels to Shelby on Friday.
