The Montague girls’ basketball team pulled away and captured a 47-27 victory over North Muskegon on Friday night.

The Wildcats led 7-5 after the first quarter, then went on a 13-8 run to take a 20-13 halftime advantage.

Montague outscored the Norse 14-9 during the third quarter to take a 34-22 lead heading into the fourth. Montague closed out the game on a 13-5 run.

Addison Pranger paced the Wildcats with 15 points, while Ella King scored 10 and Adilynn Peterson had eight.

Montague is now 4-11 on the season, 4-6 in the WMC.
