FRUITPORT — The Muskegon Heights Tigers ran away with a district victory on Wednesday night.

In a Division 4 district semifinal game, the Tigers routed Libertas Christian 67-12. That result puts Muskegon Heights into Friday night’s 7 p.m. district championship game against host Fruitport Calvary Christian.

The Tigers led 17-2 after one quarter and used a 32-point second quarter to take a 49-6 lead at the half.

Cartier Yance led the Tigers with 11 points. Marcus Bradford added 10 and Jaquan Matthews had nine. In all, eight Tigers scored at least five points.

Drew Ulicney led Libertas with four points.
