WALKERVILLE – The Muskegon Catholic boys’ basketball team opened the district tournament with a bang on Monday night.

The Crusaders took down Big Rapids Crossroads Academy, 68-19.

Jacob Lyonnais went off for a double-double of 14 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals. Will Fedewa added 11 points, three rebounds and two steals, while Q Lorenz had 11 points, two rebounds and two steals.

Owen Lyonnais, Aaron Lamach and Adam Lamach each chipped in eight points.

Muskegon Catholic (5-18) will take on Fruitport Calvary Christian at 7 p.m Wednesday at Walkerville.
