Muskegon overcomes halftime deficit, earns nine-point league victory over Zeeland West

The Muskegon Big Reds scored just 15 points in the opening half against Zeeland West.

But that didn’t stop the Big Reds from a second-half surge that led to a 53-44 league victory over the Dux in OK-Green action.

TJ Davis paced Muskegon with 12 points. Sophomore James Martin and Montrel Oliver Jr. each added 10 points, M’Khi Guy had nine points, followed by Justin Watson with six points.

The Big Reds host Grand Blanc on Saturday at Redmond-Potter Gymnasium.
