Ravenna knocks off North Muskegon in West Michigan Conference girls’ hoops matchup

RAVENNA – The Ravenna girls basketball team upset North Muskegon with a 32-21 WMC-Rivers victory on Thursday evening.

The Bulldogs set the tone with a 16-7 first half and managed to carry that lead to the final buzzer.

Addison Gillard led the Bulldogs with 11 points and Mattisen Crowley scored 10 points.

The Norse’s Delaney Young scored seven points and Emma Buchmiller had five points.

Ravenna (6-9, 3-6) will visit Hesperia on Friday for more league action.

North Muskegon (10-6, 5-4) is set to travel to Montague on Friday.
